CarCreature.AI ("CarCreature," "we," "us") builds AI software products for automotive dealerships, including Torq and Octo. This policy explains how we handle personal information, including mobile phone numbers used for SMS text messaging.

Information we collect

In the course of demonstrating or providing our products, we may collect your name, mobile phone number, email address, and information related to a vehicle purchase or finance transaction, where applicable, in connection with our dealership customers' use of our software.

SMS messaging

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from us — for example, during a live product demonstration, sales conversation, or as part of a dealership's finance and insurance process — we may send you SMS messages related to that specific interaction, such as a link to a product walkthrough or a customer-facing chat experience.

• We do not sell or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the specific message you agreed to receive.
• Message frequency is limited to the specific interaction or transaction in question — typically one to a few messages per demo, conversation, or deal. We do not send recurring marketing texts.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
• You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, or HELP for assistance.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate, demonstrate, and improve our software products, to communicate with prospective and current customers, and to fulfill the specific purpose you engaged with us for (such as a product demo or a dealership finance conversation).

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate our products (such as our SMS delivery provider or cloud infrastructure providers), under agreements that limit their use of that information to providing services to us.

Dealership customers

When our software is deployed by a dealership, that dealership is the party primarily responsible for its own end-customers' data collected through its sales, finance, and marketing processes, and maintains its own privacy practices for its customers. This policy governs CarCreature's own handling of information in connection with our direct interactions and product operation.

Your choices

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You may contact us at the email below to ask what information we hold about you or to request its deletion.
